Why Online Education Is More Important Than Food Or Drink

By Kacy Carr

Focusing on the importance of online education is why I ask you to step back in time to when your children were babies. Remember when you taught them to talk/walk. Remember hearing babys first word like dada/mama one of the most pleasurable experiences in your life. Remember that special moment when baby took his/her first steps where you waited in anticipation to welcome them with open arms of which baby fell into after the third step.

Remember the time when your back was turned for a split second and baby had scaled the height of the staircase causing panic and hysteria. You would beg baby to stay put while you challenged those stairs at a pace beyond belief to secure babys safety. Remember the nights you paced the floor trying to ease babys pains.

Can you remember what your child found important in their early years of growing up? Well let me remind you, it was their age. Numbers played an important role and meant so much to the children e.g. if you asked your child their age you got the exact figures like 5 years and 19 days old. Sense of power was given to the oldest of the street gang because the leader was 5 days older than contester.

If your child had a scuffle with another kid and come of the worst those words from mum/dad like well go hit them back were useless because you had the famous words thrown back into your face, I cant they are ten days older than me. So you see how important numbers meant to your child when growing up. Why change things now when they are even more essential than you could imagine. Online education besides eating and drinking is the next best thing to survival.

Why is education more important than food and drink. Without it no decent meal on the table.

Caring for your teen the right way is to encourage them to further their education. Without doubt this will prove to be the best parental move you could ever make. If baby is still a toddler then nurture them with more knowledge. Remember as vital education is, children need to grow up in the way nature intended and that is to play and enjoy their childhood. There is no need to push more than necessary to force is not the answer. If your child is pushed then expect a rebellious unhappy child. Online education is this answer for this, depending on the age of the child learning programmes on the internet are carefully devised so baby gets to learn as well as enjoy.

Education has to be number one priority for all parents who want their child to succeed or at least have a chance in leading a comfortable life. It is sad to say without an education under your belt you get to stay at the bottom of any list for advancing forward. There are people who disagree with the system and how it works meaning no knowledge no hope. I also feel the same but hey think about it, it is not a bad thing to know a little more.

Just a reminder, we queue outside our home towns travelling hundreds of miles to keep a dental appointment. Patient lists as long as your arm is still on the increase for hospital treatment. And I am afraid the education system will be next when a time limit is imposed on when we can or can not further our education. Unless you do something fast expect to stand in that forever growing queue as long as the china wall to collect your social security.

Saving Money On Food & Drink

By Chemain Evans

Have you ever just about died of a heart attack at the checkstand of your local grocery store? It seems like the price of food and beverages keeps escalating, with no end in sight. Higher transportation costs (especially fuel) are only one of the many factors have significantly impacted the price of goods at your local store. This article will discuss some of the ways you can cut back your expenses on purchased food and water.

Food Purchased at Markets

You can save hundreds of dollars a year by shopping at the lower-priced food stores. Higher-end grocery stores may have a nicer, brighter, more spacious shopping area, but you are paying for that in the form of higher prices. Some grocery chains offer a “preferred” customer card, supposedly to give you the best price over the “non-preferred, non-cardholding” customers. You would probably be unwise to shop at these stores without such a card (although it may be necessary when traveling, etc.), but you would be even more wise to look elsewhere. Sometimes that “preferred” customer price is higher than the regular price at the store just down the street. Resist that urge to shop at the convenience store on your way home; you pay for that convenience in the form of often significantly higher prices.

Shop with a list! This little bit of planning can also save you hundreds of dollars annually. How many times have you gone to the store just for milk (that you forgot to buy earlier in the week when you were there) and come home with $30 or more worth of groceries? Grocery stores are purposely designed to keep you in the store as long as possible; for example, on your way to the back of the store to get milk (even this is on purpose), you pass by hundreds of products and colorful displays, not to mention delicious smells enticing you in their direction. And, oh what luck! There is a cookie display right next to the milk. Even the music over the loudspeaker has been specifically chosen based on market analysis of what age brackets of shoppers shop at what times of the day (and thus what kind of music they like). Make out a list and stick to it!

As with all other things, comparison shop. You can save hundreds of dollars a year by comparing price-per-ounce or other unit prices on shelf labels. Stock up on those items with low per-unit costs. Store brands are often just as good or better than national brands, at sometimes almost half the cost! Try some; you probably will be pleasantly surprised.

Water

When you go out to eat, don’t buy a drink. Ask for water instead. You probably won’t notice the difference (if the food is good enough) and you will be drinking a healthy alternative to soda or alcohol.

Keep a water bottle near you at all times. When you start feeling hungry or thirsty drink some water instead of heading for the vending machine or that stash of candy bars in your desk. Many times we feel hungry when we are instead thirsty. Satisfy the thirst first! You will save money and improve your health.

If you prefer drinking bottled water, look into purchasing a water purifier or purification system. Over the long run it may be much cheaper than purchasing bottled water. In addition, a good filtration system could improve your health, considering all the microbes and chemicals found in the water coming out of the tap!

Saving money on food and water doesn’t require that you go on a starvation diet. It just requires a little up-front planning. You know the saying: If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Make planning a habit and watch the savings rack up.

Food And Drink

Food And Drink

By Carolyn Clayton

Food and drink have become a major part of most people’s lives, in particular their social lives. In fact the phrase ‘food and drink’ produces over 89 million hits on the Google website. Excessiveness in either is of course unhealthy, but perhaps this is one of the reasons why people see good food or good wine as something special, something to treat themselves with.

Guides to good food, wine and restaurants have become big business. Egon Ronay’s ‘Guide to the Best Restaurants and Gastropubs in the UK’ which provides detailed reviews of over 500 restaurants and gastropubs has sold over 2 million copies. Its simple to compare style of awarding up to three stars to each restaurant is clearly a hit with readers.

‘The Good Food Guide’ edited by Elizabeth Carter sells itself as Britain’s leading restaurant guide and is currently in it 56th edition, detailing over 1,500 eateries from gastropubs to high end dining.

Fine wine guides are also a big seller, with books such as Clarke’s ‘Fine Wine Guide: A Connoisseur’s Bible’ and Johnson-Bell’s ‘Good Food, Fine Wine: A Practical Guide to Finding the Perfect Match’ both readily available on the internet it is clear that there is a high demand for such guides.

This is not surprising as the United Kingdom is the second largest importer of wine in the world. Wine sales in the UK increased 25% between 2001 and 2005. In 2004 the estimated wine consumption was 1.2 billion litres. In particular there has been an increase in the consumption of so-called New World wines, for example those from Australia or the USA instead of traditional producers such as France. California now produces 2 billion litres of wine every year, making it the fourth biggest producer behind Italy, France and Spain. In 2004, New World wines accounted for over 55% of total consumption in the UK.

Exports of Australian wines have more than quadrupled in the last decade to reach nearly 800 million litres in 2006, 22% of which went onto the UK market, approximately 176 million litres.

Exports of New Zealand wines to the UK alone have increased from 8.1 million litres in 1997 to 21.9 million litres in 2006.

One factor in the explanation of this is an increase in the availability of fine wine in many supermarkets. Some figures place two-thirds of UK wines sales in supermarkets. Increased demand and competition between large chain supermarkets have increased the variety of wines and producers and made them more accessible to the general public.

A recent report by Vinexpo has predicted that the UK will become Europe’s biggest market for wine by 2010. The report which examined the worlds wine producers and consumers also predicted that by 2010 the UK wine sales would be worth £5.5 billion, despite the fact that the UK paid the highest average price per bottle (£3.11), which is equivalent to 28.5 litres per capita compared to an average of 27 litres between 2001 and 2005.

The report also showed that between 2001 and 2005 Australia had overtaken France as the UK’s biggest supplier with imports rising 51%. Imports from countries such as the USA and South Africa have also risen during this period which highlights the trend toward New World wines.
